Originality: I have seen a few other peices of art, especially on dA, that reflect the same idea of using a balloon to represent being alone, but I feel as if this peice is perhaps deeper in it's execution. This peice seems as having a slightly deeper meaning than the others I have come across, and it surprises me how something that looks familiar to me can still make me think deeply and different about it.
Technique: The artwork seems as if it has been easily done. Like it hasn't taken too much thought on the artists behalf. But, saying that, I love the simplicity and the way that the clouds have been layered shows the quality of the artists work. I think that the colours have been extremely well thought out and extremely well put across. I don't think the work would have the same impact if it wasn't how it is, if that makes sense?
Impact: I think, personally, this is one of the best peices I have come across recently. When I first looked at it, it literally did make me think 'wow', and then at a more in-depth look, it just leaves me speechless. I think this is most certainly a personal opinion, but I think I love it so much because it is a peice of artwork that I feel I can relate too, and I love the emotions that I get from it. It is a peice of art that most certainly makes me think.
A huge thumbs up from me.
